One of the working visa types that are mentioned in the Canadian law is the Entertainer visa.
The goal of the recent regulations in the Canadian law is to protect the dancer by any means possible. The Clubs must employ the dancer directly and not through intermediary agencies. The Clubs must guarantee the dancer minimum wages, accommodation and round trip airfare to Canada.

The provincial law protects the dancer as well. Besides imposing strict wages, the work conditions are rigorously checked upon.

Provinces such as Ontario have extremely strict rules in regards with “sexual touching” which is forbidden in ALL Clubs across Ontario.

 The Exotic Dancer Program requirements are as follows:

• At least 19 years old;
• Experienced in Exotic Dancing and willing to do the job in Canada;
• Be able to provide a mailing address, an e-mail and phone number;
• Provide at least 3 photos that are representative to the job in Canada;
• Available to start working in 45 days at the most.
